Courses of Study

We offer only one major – BIBLE! Specialized areas of study include General Bible, Missions, Pastoral Ministry, Christian Education, and Youth Ministry. The course prescribed for a first year student will give a good foundation to any Christian regardless of future vocation. Our three year Associate of Arts degree program is designed to prepare the student for Christian ministry upon graduation.

See the Graduation Requirements section for information on our Bachelor of Arts degree. For further information regarding program specifics please contact us and request a school catalog.

CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS

Students are grouped in classes at the beginning of each semester and retain this classification throughout the semester according to the following schedule:

Number of semester classroom hours creditably completed:

Freshmen 0-32
Junior 33-63
Senior 64 or over and carrying a load which will permit graduation within the current school year.

CHANGE OF SCHEDULE

  1. In order to add or drop a class, permission must be received from the Registrar, who will consult with the instructors involved. If a class is dropped within the first two weeks of a semester, no grade will be recorded.
  2. If a class is dropped after the first two weeks of a semester, a grade of WP (withdrew passing) or WF (withdrew failing) will be entered.
  3. Under ordinary circumstances, a student may not drop a class after eight weeks. A grade of W (withdrew) may be entered for a student who must withdraw from school due to extenuating circumstances.
  4. No student will be permitted to add a class after the first week.
  5. A student who enrolls late for any course will be counted absent for each class session of that course from the beginning of the semester.

RECORDS

A complete transcript of all credits earned is kept on file in the Registrar's office and is available to each student. All academic records are confidential and will not be released without the student's written permission.

The first transcript will be furnished without charge, and after that a charge of $2.00 will be made to the student for each transcript issued. No transcript will be issued until all academic, financial, and other obligations to Frontier have been met
