Location

Frontier School of the Bible first opened its doors on September 5, 1967. The co-founders, Rev. Richard LeBar and Rev. Dan Johnson, had a burden for a school in the state of Wyoming which would be strictly a Bible Institute. They had a vision for what the Lord could do in and through such a training center, with strong emphasis on the Word of God. This purpose continues today.

The present campus includes dormitories, a dining hall and kitchen, classroom buildings, a student center, an administration building (which houses Frontier offices, the library and the chapel), and several staff and married student houses.

The county seat, Torrington, is 35 miles to the north. The state capitol, Cheyenne, is located 58 miles southwest along highway 85. Scottsbluff, Nebraska is 42 miles away while Denver, Colorado is 150 miles to the south.
