Frontier is a Bible Institute committed to solid Bible training, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Students who attend here not only experience a unique setting, but a family atmosphere as well. Frontier exists to train students for life and ministry. It is the aim of Frontier to provide the student with accurate instruction in the Word of God, an academic environment compatible with gaining a thorough knowledge of the Word of God, a social atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth, and the opportunity for Christian service.

Frontier School of the Bible has never applied for regional accreditation as the school believes it would compromise its program and distinctives. It is the practice of Frontier School of the Bible, and other institutes and colleges, to accept or reject credits based on their own institutional criteria regardless of whether or not the particular school transferring credit is accredited. Several Christian colleges and universities accept Frontiers credits. If a student desires to transfer to another institution at any point in time, it is the students responsibility to confirm whether or not credits will be accepted by another college of the students choice.

Frontier School of the Bible is a Bible Institute and not a liberal arts college. As a technical school, it is designed to give the student a high quality Bible college/seminary type education to equip them for life and ministry. Its program is intended to be an end in itself and not a stepping stone to graduate school.

Frontier's approach to education centers on the study of the Bible, places emphasis on spiritual life, and stresses the practical training of the student in Christian service. Rather than focusing on philosophy, criticism, and studies about the Bible, attention is centered on the study of the Bible itself. This study, coupled with the opportunity to put these truths to work in personal witnessing and in spiritual growth, is designed to produce an evangelistic and missionary spirit and an attitude of submission to the Lord. We believe that only God, through knowledge of the Scriptures and submission to the indwelling Holy Spirit, can equip a person for the work He wants us to do. Frontier's three-year program is designed to fully equip an individual for ministry.

Frontier is a faith school, dependent solely on God and the prayerful interest of His own people who envision eternal dividends through investing in the lives of men and women given over to His purposes. Our policy is one of providing full information without solicitation (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). Faculty and staff members are dependent upon God for their personal needs.

Frontier School of the Bible is organizationally independent. It is not endowed nor supported by any denomination, institution, or organization. Frontier stands for that which exalts Jesus Christ and against that which encourages the carnal nature.

We believe...

Doctrine and Bible are foundational and essential to the Christian life.

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone; nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.

Teaching Gods Word and loving people are keys in ministry.

It is essential to instill in students the importance of taking obedient steps of faith.

Education, talents, and gifts have their place but will not carry a person in ministry; humility and a dependence on God will.

The ministry is not a profession; it is a calling and privilege.

A high emphasis on expository preaching is of great importance in the training of pastors.

Every student is important. Therefore, faculty and staff are encouraged to be involved in the lives of students through activities, fellowship at mealtimes, and prayer/discipleship groups. We seek to have a family atmosphere at FSB.

Practical ministry experience is a tremendous asset in the classroom. Therefore, every faculty member comes to FSB with full-time ministry experience.

We believe it is important for students who are going into ministry to graduate without school debt. Therefore, we make every effort to keep costs down. One of those ways is that every faculty and staff member at Frontier serves as a missionary.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally and inerrantly revealed in its original documents, and is the supreme, final authority in faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father,Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in power and glory, identical in their essential nature, and worthy of precisely the same honor, confidence, obedience and love.

We believe Jesus Christ was virgin-born, that He is both true God and true Man, that He died a sacrificial death for our sins and rose bodily from the dead. We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit.

We believe man was created innocent, but in sinning he brought spiritual and physical death to himself and all his posterity. We believe the sole condition for receiving everlasting life is faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died a substitutionary death on the cross for the sins of the whole world and rose bodily from the grave. No act of obedience, such as commitment to obey, sorrow for sin, turning from one's sin, baptism or submission to the Lordship of Christ, may be added to, or considered part of faith as a condition for receiving eternal life. This saving transaction between God and the sinner is simply the giving and receiving of a free gift.

We believe all true believers are sons of God, and that He has made full provision for their sanctification, victory, and eternal security through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe all believers are responsible to walk in separation from all religious apostasy and worldly and sinful practices, witnessing by life and word to the saving power of Christ extended to all men.

We believe the Church is composed of all truly born-again people, being the Body of which Jesus Christ is the Head, that it had its earthly beginning on the day of Pentecost and that all believers, whether Jew or Gentile, from that day to the time when Christ comes in the Rapture for the Church, are united by the Holy Spirit in this one Body.

We believe that believers are to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, fervently loving one another with a pure heart. We believe the hope of the Church is the gathering together of the saints unto Jesus Christ before the time of the Tribulation.

We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly set forth and defined in the New Testament, and that fellowship in such churches is based on a common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.

We believe in the dispensational interpretation of the Word of God but reject any extreme teaching that opposes either the Lord's Supper or water baptism as a Scriptural means of testimony for the local church in this dispensation of grace.

We believe in the personality of Satan, that he is doomed to eternal punishment in the lake of fire.

We believe the Tribulation period will follow the Rapture or "catching away" of the Church; that this time of judgement will be consummated at the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to earth to subdue all His enemies and to set up His earthly kingdom for one thousand years.

We believe that at death the spirits and souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation pass immediately into His presence in conscious blessedness, and that at Christ's coming for the Church, their bodies will be raised and reunited with their souls to be associated with Him forever in glory, transformed into His likeness.

We believe that all those who do not accept God's gracious offer of salvation in this life remain, after death, in conscious misery until the final judgment of the Great White Throne at the close of the Millennium when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord.

We stand firmly and uncompromisingly on the Word of God, maintaining separation from any movement which seeks the organizational unity of all Christianity and ultimately of all religions.

We believe the sign gifts (Mark 16:17-18 -- tongues, healings, etc.) were given for the foundational period of the church and ceased with the coming of the New Testament and the end of the age in which the apostles lived.

“What a joy to minister in chapel services at Frontier School of the Bible. Students’ hearts are uncommonly tender and responsive to the Lord’s leading. Frontier is a school where God is abundantly blessing. What a great place to send Christian young people.”

Dick Manion, Former Executive Director, Tentmakers Bible Mission

“Why do I recommend Frontier? First, all full-time teachers at Frontier have had mission, pastoral or ministry experience. Second, the biggest hang-up for those wanting to serve in missions today is debt – the average debt for a four year degree is $60,000! Frontier leads the way in keeping costs as low as possible. And finally, the academic requirements at Frontier do not include liberal arts but place more emphasis on Bible, missions, and ministry. Attending Frontier prepares you for a lifetime of service to the Lord!”

Martin Kolczyk, SEND International

“Frontier is one of the finer Christian colleges preparing men and women for effective ministry.”

Michael Jones, Assistant Director, Village Missions

“Nestled in the heart of Wyoming’s grassland, Frontier School of the Bible is being used of God to raise up an army of dedicated servants with a passion for God and compassion for people.”

Charlie Hornick, Instuctor at FSB and Former Pastor, Grace Bible Church, Parachute, CO

“I appreciate FSB for the same reasons I appreciate the training I received at GRSBM. FSB is a specialized training school for ministry. Its curriculum is saturated with the Bible. Its faculty teaches not only theory, but also ministry experience as each one has served in full-time ministry. Frontier instills a ministry philosophy – love God; love His Word; love His people. We need this kind of ministry training in our culture, our society and the church of Jesus Christ.”

Dr. Richard McCarrell, Senior Pastor, Byron Center Bible Church, Byron Center, MI

“My years at FSB were truly the most valuable investment I could have ever made. Not only did I receive a top-notch Bible education from instructors who take an uncompromising stand on the Word of God, but I also learned to practically apply Biblical principles to my life and ministry.”

Ben Rhodes, 2006 Graduate, Seldon, KS

“It wasn’t until I attended FSB that I realized how much I didn’t know about the doctrines through which I came to really understand, among other things, my position in Christ. That education had a standard of excellence which has served me well in Columbia, South America, as a missionary.”

Jack Foster, 1986 Graduate, Missionary, New Tribes Mission, Columbia

“For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a pastor, and for the last 12 years, I have had the joy of being involved with Frontier School of the Bible as a speaker for lectures and Spiritual Life Week. More importantly, I have been involved as a parent who has watched each of his children attend FSB. So when I recommend this school, it isn’t just because I have heard about the excellent Bible training or heard about the great job FSB does in preparing people for ministry and life. I have seen it in my children, who are all serving the Lord.”

Garry Koon, Pastor, Georgetown Bible Church, Hudsonville, MI

“Frontier is unique in its philosophy of ministry, price, and setting. The doctrinal and theological training, atmosphere, and practical Christian service training were excellent. I highly recommend FSB.”

Derrick Smothers, 1996 Graduate, Pastor

“I’ve been a pastor for over 20 years and I have searched for a Bible school that still teaches God’s Word without compromise, a school that I could recommend to the young people in the church I pastor. Frontier School of the Bible is the school I recommend to young people who want either one year of Bible school or those who want to train for the ministry. I am pleased to say that two of our college age children have attended FSB.”

Mark T. Canady, Pastor, Village Missions, Meridian, ID

“As a mission representative, I am looking for students who, first of all, have a love for the Lord. Secondly, I look for those who are willing to work even if it means getting their hands dirty. I can wholeheartedly recommend FSB for the sincere person who wants to be equipped to serve our Lord.”

Doug Howe, Regional Missions Mobilizer for UFM International

“Frontier is more than just a school. It is indeed a family. Major blessings have been the opportunity for Christian service, witnessing, and missions. My overall love for Frontier is based in the fact that the Bible is held to be the final indisputable authority in all things. Along with this, Jesus Christ is always given preeminence. It is a school that is run by faith alone in Jesus Christ.”

John Cook, 2002 Graduate, Missionary, One Way Evangelistic Ministries, Guyana

“I appreciate Frontier School of the Bible because they are endeavoring to instill in the students a servant’s heart for service for the King of Kings. The faculty and staff’s example of living by faith is part of their daily lives which the students can learn.”
