To help respond to the Covid-19 virus in a campus environment, Frontier School of the Bible will be modifying its schedule for the fall semester. The following are important changes that our students will want to know.
- The fall semester will still start on August 24th, but on-campus instruction will end on November 25.
- Special Lectures for the fall semester will be accomplished online and must be completed by the end of the semester (December 18th).
- Missions conference has been modified so that normal classes will continue during the week.
- Finals week, the last week of the semester, will be accomplished off campus. Instructors may use a variety of methods for final exams.
Our goal, even in this very unique time, is to continue offering a solid Bible education. We believe these steps will help us to accomplish that goal while also easing some of the burdens that have come with this challenge.
Return to Campus Plan for 2020
This plan was created to guide the restarting of on-campus classes at Frontier School of the Bible. We want to protect the health of our staff, faculty, students, and residents of the surrounding area. Please know that all of these policies are subject to change.
This plan will be adjusted as changes are needed. Since the beginning of the pandemic, as far as we know, there have only been six confirmed cases in our county.
All students must sign a Risk and Responsibility Covid-19 Waiver and submit it before or at registration.
All students and family members coming for registration are to answer the following questions just prior to leaving home:
- Have you traveled outside of the USA in the last 14 days?
- Have you been in close contact with anyone who has traveled internationally in the last 14 days?
- Have you been in close contact with a person known to have the Coronavirus?
- Do you currently have a fever or respiratory symptoms such as a cough or shortness of breath?
If you or anyone in your family answers, “Yes,” to any of these questions, then you should stay at home. The student must notify Frontier School of the Bible of this and be tested for the virus before coming to school.
If the student prefers wearing a mask, we recommend they bring a supply with them.
A pre-registration health check will be required by all students and guests before registration.
Unfortunately, on account of the current Covid-19 issue, each student is limited to two accompanying family members or guests while registering and moving into the dorm. Once a student is registered and moved in, parents or guests will need to leave campus.
Early arrival times must be approved by the Dean of Students at least one week in advance of registration. Admittance to the dorms will only be allowed when registration is completed.
Students are to maintain daily temperature and symptom testing. Please bring a thermometer with you to campus.
If quarantine is necessary, rooms, necessities, and meals will be provided.
Noncompliance to required safety protocols could result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from FSB.
Dining Hall / Classes / Dormitories
Students and faculty are to wash their hands or use the provided hand sanitizer before entering the food line.
We will no longer have self-serve meals. While serving the meals, food service personnel will use proper protective equipment.
Drinks will be self-serve, but refills are not allowed. The water bottle touch-free feature on the drinking fountain will be available for refills.
We will sanitize highly used areas.
Students will self-distance as much as possible. There will be regular sanitizing of highly used areas.

During the semester, we discourage unnecessary travel outside of this region of the country.
Change in Schedule
The school calendar has been redesigned to limit travel and mitigate the spread of the virus. The October 9th day off of school has been cancelled and classes will meet during Missions Week. At the conclusion of the semester, final exams and Special Lectures will be done online. All on-campus classes will be completed Wednesday, November 25th. We will not be inviting a group of mission’s organizations for our regular Missions Conference. Individual missionary representatives will be allowed to schedule for a chapel service.
